This lunchtime I went out for a little walk along a footpath near where I work, partly for exercise, partly to take my camera out with me. I haven't been out with it properly for a while, and my shutter finger was starting to get itchy :)
What I came back with, simply amazed me. There were many other pictures that I took, and they will no doubt appear tomorrow, but here are some of a damselfly that I was lucky enough to actually have pose for me. I originally thought that it was a dragonfly, but I have since been told that it is in actual fact a damselfly, and dragonflies can't make their wings do that :)
Please note that the last three images are VERY BIG indeed, and are suitable for those of you who may wish to do something else with them, or simply those that have never seen a damselfly so close before.
