OK, I went out at lunchtime, at the request of several people, and took some pictures to illustrate a few of the problems. All images were taken with a Canon EOS D60 digital SLR, with a Sigma 28-135mm Macro zoom. The camera was tripod mounted for all pictures, using a remote trigger and mirror lockup, and the CMOS sensitivity set to ISO200 equivalent, to compensate for the low light levels. No images have been retouched or altered, except for the shot of the tailgate, which I had to exposure correct by hand, they have not been sharpened since they came off the camera, so they may look a little fuzzy in places. The closeups of the holes in the top surface of the bumper are crops to save my bandwidth.
So this is it - the large images are on the bottom row.
